Rotary Club of Taipei West

The new emblem design for the Rotary Club of Taipei West centers on the character “西” (“West”), embodying multiple layers of symbolism. The lines on either side resemble the collar of a gentleman’s suit, symbolizing the professionalism and refined demeanor of the members. The emblem also draws inspiration from the traditional architecture of Longshan Temple, featuring simplified lines to represent the beauty of traditional structures and a respect for Taiwanese cultural heritage. The central shape of a temple gate signifies inclusivity and openness, resonating with the Rotary’s spirit of “Service Above Self” and the fostering of friendship. Additionally, the abbreviation “TW” for “TAIPEI WEST” is integrated into the emblem, enhancing regional identity while showcasing the club’s blend of cultural depth and modernity.
The brand colors are Hope Orange and Wisdom Purple. Hope Orange symbolizes passion and optimism, like the light of dawn, representing the club’s proactive spirit and dedication to social service, reflecting the Rotary’s mission to drive societal progress. Wisdom Purple signifies knowledge and sophistication, embodying the members’ wisdom and vision, emphasizing the club’s role in cultural preservation and societal advancement.
